Welcome to The Box Scene Project

The Box Scene Project is a fan-based non-profit organization. Our mission is to achieve equal representation for LGBT*/minority characters, actors, and issues on network television.

In our first year, we demonstrated fan support for equal representation by successfully lobbying for the release of a deleted scene between TV’s most popular gay teen couple, and raising over $70,000 for charity by offering fans prizes and items from their favorite diverse celebrities and television shows.

LeakyCon Portland 2013 - We'll be there!

We will have merch, goodies, launch a new awareness campaign and participate in a panel entitled "Can Fandom Change The World?" Panelists include Hank Green, Anthony Rapp, Danica Johnson, and our friends at the Harry Potter Alliance.

3rd Charity Giveaway! Got Item Donations?

Our 3rd Charity Giveaway launches August 1st, the anniversary of the release of The Box Scene. We need your help for it to be a success.

If you have fandom memorabilia or you make items such as t-shirts, pins, jewelry, etc., and you'd like to help, please email us at donations@theboxsceneproject.org.

All items must be delivered to our P.O. Box by July 15.
